Print your passport photos almost for free
(This article belongs to and is part of print your photo web application.)
It’s really needles to spend a lot of money (4+ Eur) for a few passport photos at some local photographer/booth, when you can do all the things alone and for free. Apart from need of plenty of these photos per year…
Prerequisities are these:
- (digital) camera
- online print your photo editor or some desktop graphic editor
- printer
No law says anything about origin, you just have to comply with some basic rules as:
- straight look into camera
- camera should be in eyeline
- upper part of shoulder and whole head visible with some whitespace above it
- light and monotone background (white, light blue)
- no glasses (except blind persons)
- no scarfs/hats (unless religious beliefs or ethnical background)
- dimensions 3.5 x 4.5 cm
- colourful image (in some countries even black-and-white)
So just take a photo of you meeting aforementioned requirements and go to print your photo to finish the job.

I just wanted to say a big “THANK YOU” for this web site.
I spent $15 on a couple of passport pictures and I hated my photo. So I decided to take my own photo and was struggling with re-sizing the pics to print according to the passport pic size requirements. I found this web site … and lo & behold, I now have a much nicer passport picture!
You saved the day for me!
