Chicken in salt

One exceptionally easy recipe! All You need is chicken, salt and… pot.
I’ve learnt this recipe in bakery, where are usually tons of salt and bakers are hungry.

All You need is:

  • chicken (full-dressed)
  • a lot of salt
  • enough big pot

Just fill bottom of the pot with  cca 5 cm thick layer of salt. Then wash the chicken, for sure, and put it in the pot. Now sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle the chicken with salt to fully cover it.

Let’s go to next and last phase… insert the heavy pot in oven and let it bake at 200 °C for 60-90 mins.

When taken out, there should be pretty stony salt cover. Just break it and pull out the mellow chicken… yummy yummy!

You could say, it would be disgusting salty, but it is not, surprisingly. If by accident, just wash it with water. Is’s so hot, that the skin will be in 10 seconds dry again.
